What is Skip Logic?

Skip logic (also called conditional branching) lets you control which questions a respondent sees based on how they answered earlier questions. Instead of showing every respondent every question, Opinio routes each person through only the questions that are relevant to them — resulting in a faster, more focused experience and higher completion rates.

For example: if a respondent answers "No" to "Do you own a car?", all follow-up questions about car usage are automatically skipped. Combine skip logic with answer piping to build fully dynamic, personalised surveys.

How Branching Works in Opinio

Visual Branching Diagram

The Opinio editor includes a visual branching diagram that gives you a bird's-eye view of every conditional path in your survey. You can verify that the flow is correct before publishing.
